Beam welding lines - Vertical type

Automatic Welding lines

“Vertical Beam Welding Line” automatic, two or four head submerged arc-welding lines.
These machines are specifically designed for the manufacture of welded “T” and double “T” girder-beams with parallel or converging flange. The beam is fed into the machine and both sides of the beam are welded simultaneously.

When double “T” beams are being manufactured, once the first flange has been welded, the beam is flipped over and fed back into the unit once again.
This machine is capable of welding both symmetrical and non-symmetrical beams without the need for tacking, as well as box-girders (pre-tacked).

forging equipment

  • Tacking required only at the top of the profile in order to obtain the proper position between the web and the flange.
  • 8 times less space required in the workshop, compared to a traditional solution
  • Only 3 operators, 70% less than a traditional solution
  • No overhead cranes required for any intermediate handling
  • Higher productivity. For the twin line up to 300 meters of welded beams in 8 hours
  • Symmetrical welding condition for high quality results
  • Integration of WPS software for full standardization of the welding process
