“Horizontal Beam Welding Line” automatic, two or four head submerged arc-welding lines.
These machines are specifically designed for the manufacture of welded double “T” girder-beams with parallel or converging flange. This machine is particularly effective when the welding bead is one sided. When the beam is processed the two sides are welded simultaneously.
The flanges are loaded in squared position with the web, either manually or automatically. The infeed conveyor moves the three components under the working unit. After the operator inputs the geometric parameters, the machine starts the welding process.
This machine is capable of welding both symmetrical and non-symmetrical beams without the need for tacking, as well as box-girders (pre-tacked).
